The company has been located in the Philadelphia area since its inception in 1968, and has occupied its present location in Chester, Pennsylvania since 1981. With its success, Community was aquired by Audio Prof in 2014 shortly after the rebrand. Audio Prof was acquired by Biamp in 2019 to provide them with the growth in key markets. and is now part of Biamp Systems family. A brand refresh involved updating the existing brand identity to reflect newest technology and bring the company into the 2st century. and positioning process to become Community Professional Loudspeakers that provides speakers for large venues and emergency horns.
